Just a quick reminder following the announcement at Explorer last week, there will be no meeting on 1st August.
Nor are there meetings on the two following Wednesdays due to the Canada trip, so our next Explorer meeting is Wednesday 22nd August.
Please be advised that Explorers tomorrow evening (Wednesday 11th July) is cancelled.
A good number of Explorers have indicated they will not be attending, and a number of leaders are also unavailable, so there will be no meeting tomorrow.
Back to normal at the lake next week.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
This is just a quick reminder that as per our current programme, there is no Explorer meeting this evening.

I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year, and are all looking forward to another year of Explorers activities and events.
Remember that Explorers starts back this coming Wednesday (10th January) at the HQ, 7.30pm – 9.30pm.

January – April 2018 Activity Programme
As we mentioned on Wednesday, we have kindly received a substantial donation from the Coop in Corsham. The store and local members have raised £3,212.57! They would like to present us with the donation on Saturday, and give us one of those big cheques!
If any Explorers are available to come to Corsham Coop in the Town Centre from 10am – 12noon to represent the unit and receive the donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please come down in uniform for 10am, we will only be there for a couple of hours!
Make sure you book your place on our Christmas meal, which will be on the 20th December!
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be doing the programmed activities at tonight’s meeting. Instead we will all be doing an outdoor activity (with prizes!) so please bring your coat!
On Wednesday 1st November we will be going on a trip to Freedog Trampoline Park in Swindon. The cost of this trip will be £12 which includes transport to and from Corsham by minibus, entry into the park and a pair of freedog non slip socks!
If you would like to attend this trip please either:
- Make a bank transfer of £12 to our account (30-91-99, 00259203)
- Pay on our website at www.seasquadesu.org.uk and click on Online Payments.
