I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year, and are all looking forward to another year of Explorers activities and events.
Remember that Explorers starts back this coming Wednesday (10th January) at the HQ, 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
We will be starting a new programme of activities which is available below.

January – April 2018 Activity Programme
This is just a quick reminder about the hike tomorrow evening.
As per our current programme, please remember that we are meeting at the Railway Station car park in Bradford-On-Avon at 7pm, and Explorers will need t be collected from The Barge Inn at Seend at 9pm.
Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear suitable shoes.

If you are on the water, please make sure you bring the correct kit.
April – September 2017 Activity Programme
As we discussed at Explorers last week we are very aware that we are currently in the season of GCSE and A-Level examinations, of course, these will be a priority for the majority of Explorers.
For that reason we have decided to run a ‘flexible’ Wednesday night programme for the next few weeks. Each Wednesday we will have two or three activities available, and Explorers can simply choose which one they would like to participate in, regardless of their patrols.
These will be issued on a written programme shortly, but for this evening (10th May) the options will be:
- Tag Rugby
- Open Fire Cooking
We wish you all the very best of luck in your exams!
Following our meeting last week, this evening we will not be doing the DofE or expedition work as written on the programme.
Tonight’s activity will be suitable for everyone, and will be based outside. Please bring suitable footwear and a coat, as we will be walking through the park.
Meeting at the Scout HQ, 7pm – 9pm.
Please, please, please remember to respond to the emails asking if you will be coming to events, it really helps us to know how many people wish to attend.
Sorry for any confusion, see you all tonight.
This is an important notice about Explorers tonight.
Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, we will be a bit short on leaders tonight at Explorers.
For that reason we have decided to skip this week of our current rota, and we will instead be doing a single whole group activity.
This activity will take place outdoors in the town and park, so please bring a coat and suitable footwear.
The week of the activity rota which we miss will be added on to the first week of the new rota to ensure that no Explorers miss the current activities.
Our term programme has been published for the rest of this term up until Easter.
Please head over to the Programme page to download a copy.
Please see the attached flyer for information about our FREE young leaders training weekend!
If you are already a young leader, or you would like to start your young leaders training, this is the event for you.
You can book a place at the ‘Training Course Registration‘ page.
